The Flourish Mountains Hope Alliance was formed by community leaders back to coordinate fundraising for local nonprofits, and we began to thrive efficiently, and we are still going strong! The FMHA is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors, we have zero paid employees, and in recent years we’ve been able to distribute over 97% of donations back to the community.
We require grant recipients to provide services within the Nuba Mountains area, submit reports at the end of the year on how grant funds were used, and be involved with education, youth development, health and welfare, natural resource conservation, aiding those with special needs, crisis and emergency services, diversity, equity and inclusion, or other charitable and civic endeavors.

Our Goal
We’ve set goals of hope that works with communities, donors, corporate organizations, and the local communities to reach the most vulnerable in society.

We do this by turning traditional humanitarian aid on our head, encouraging radical generosity and holistic support to change the lives of refugees and internally displaced persons, with the goal of self-sufficiency.
FMHA endeavor to restore hope for marginalized populations with great need to sustain better tomorrow through programs in economic development, peace building, medical aid, educational development, leadership development; and research on issue related to refugee and internally displaced persons.
Our ultimate goals is to foster innovative generations by providing opportunities that promote dignity for disadvantaged people so that they can possess the necessary tools for radical transformation in themselves, their family, and their communities and enable them apply their potentials for improving their livelihoods and rebuild sustainable, resilient, safer and dignified society.
