High Commission of Rule of Law & Democratic Governance

Introduction:

The principal organ of Flourish Mountains Hope Alliance that works in justice field applicable to system change in which all people and institutions are subject to the same laws.

Commission dedicated to:

Promoting the full affirmation of human rights nationally, beginning grassroots communities, through a multilateral nonviolent approach aimed at the recognition of the right to know. Understanding that laws apply to everyone, including officials of the government, corporations and private citizens, no matter how wealthy or powerful and under the rule of law, laws should be administered and enforced fairly and equally.

Vision:

Adherence to the rule of law and ensures that laws are not designed only to target certain groups, but they are designed to help preserve equal rights of all citizens in a democratic society.

Goals:

  • Endeavor to build open, responsive, and accountable institutions and processes that serve the needs and preferences of the public.
  • Promote the continued separation of the legislative, executive, and judicial functions of government particularly to promote and protect judicial independence.
  • Monitor and respond to rule of law issues arising from proposals, decisions, or actions of the local or national governments and public agencies.
  • Maintain collective participation and Inclusion of citizens in public obligations, ensuring that all citizens have equal opportunity to participate and have a voice in how they will be governed.
