People in whom we have a deep connections, trust and loyalty and they have played a significant role in our mission to develop communities , advised us on the settings of our strategic directions
They know us as they understand where we have been and accept who we have become. They also have genuine interest in what's going on in our society, what we have attempted to do, and how we plan to take actions towards our goals. They provide help and guidance when needed, encourage and reassure us when times are difficult. It is our privilege to have a such people in our team.
Who is FMHA Friend?
Friends are people who are non-voting members that are volunteering to assist with financial campaigns or other volunteer and partnership duties. Friends are not required to attend official meetings but may do so sometimes to support in completion of any responsibilities. The Flourish Mountains Hope Alliance is always looking for individuals willing to help share our mission and support the local community.
Here are some of Expectations of FMHA friends:
- Donate time and/or money to advance mission of Flourish Mountains Hope
- Advocate in the local community on behalf of Flourish Mountains Hope’s mission and purposes.
- Solicit donations to Flourish Mountains Hope from family, friends, business associates or local residents or businesses.
- Hand out donation forms to family, friends, business associates or local residents or businesses.
- Make presentations to local groups on behalf of Flourish Mountains Hope’s mission and purposes.
- Use social media to increase awareness of Community Chest’s mission and need for donations.
- Share donation strategies and success stories with Board and other Flourish Mountains Hope friends.
- Provide timely updates to campaign manager of businesses contacted so as to minimize repetitive contacts to the same local businesses
