People of the Nuba Mountains region, South Kordofan state in Sudan who have scattered all over the world
- Nuba people that composed of ninety-nine (99) ethnic groups.
- These ethnic groups is classified into ten (10) linguistic groups.
- People speaking 66 tribal and dialectical languages of mother togues.
- The historic descendants of Kush kingdom who have been dispelled from far south Egypt and into far north Sudan and finally embarked in a hilly, mountainous, oily and rich land with natural resources.
- Currently living in the Nuba Mountains region of South Kordofan state in New South Sudan after South Sudan seceded.
- Most of them have scattered all over regions in Sudan as internally displaced, in the neighboring nine countries as temporary refugees, relocated and resettled in diaspora in various countries as refugees and permanent residence.
- Their identities gradually continued to disappear.
- Their languages, cultural traditions, norms began to turn away gradually into Arabized norms through indoctrination of of Islam and Arabic culture.
- Their rights to survive has been threatened by successive governments and ruling regimes in Sudan.
- Our goal is to regroup these people to strive together for restoration of their lost legacy and rebuild sustainable, resilient, safer and dignified society.
